Seth's Room

I am SO excited to finally be able to share these pictures!! We have been working on Seth's room since we finished our adoption training in November and praying the whole time that GOD would give us the baby boy to go with it! :)

I got the rug and the fabric for his bedding, pillows and draperies from Polka Tot Designs. They made the crib sheet, crib skirt, blanket and changing pad cover for me and my grandma made the draperies and the pillows! I decided that because of his age and size, I would do pillows (that could be removed from the crib when he is in it) instead of bumper pads.

This dresser was originally my mom's dresser when she was a little girl and it was white. Then it became my sister's dresser when she was a little girl (still white). It became my dresser when I was in college (painted black) and then it became the dresser in one of our guest bedrooms when Evan and I got married. Now it is blue with green polka dot knobs for Seth's room!

Hello, I found your blog through some of the other blogs I read - Turners, Francis' - and I think it is wonderful that you are adopting a child! I noticed you said that you weren't supposed to show his face though, until the adoption is final, so I thought you should know that in the pictures of his room, the picture that is the table with the lamp & picture frame with the three of you in it - you can see his face. Just thought you'd want to know. Congratulations on your new son!
